Verano
The creative mastermind behind Verano is Marco Juliano. He started making music
in 1999 and founded Jules Productions in Summer 2004. Even before that, he was a
well-known resident DJ in several big clubs in Germany’s heavily populated Ruhr
basin area. That’s how in 2000 he met his friend and future production partner,
Stefan Rio.
Rio’s profound musical training added an even more professional quality to their
work. Soon, their first productions were released and well-received by audiences.
Commercial projects like Rio & Juliano and Julio were created. Just for fun,
they did a new version of the old hit Popcorn in late 2003, which at first
was not supposed to be released because its aggressive style didn’t fit in with
the other productions. In late summer 2004, MC Dennis Nicholls joined the duo following
the release of Checker.
The three then decided to work together under the banner "Verano." Popcorn
earned them a lot of respect with German and international DJs when it eventually
came out, and Verano also started to do remixes
for established projects like Cascada,
Tune Up, C-Bool, Dickheadz, Sven-R-G vs. Bass-T, DJ Lawless or the Dancefloor Rockaz.
